I had decided to task myself something to do that was realistic, where I could make a likeness, play with materials, and try to faithfully recreate a famous figure. I chose Tim Curry's Pennywise!
I didn't do Bill Skarsgard's Pennywise, as for some reason I've grown more attached to Tim Curry's version. I guess you could say he was "My" version.
I began in Zbrush, where I made the likeness, and a very light dabbling of material information, like the pores on his face, and the clothing he has. I then took it into Maya, retopologised it, and settled for 50,000 Tri's as he would be a hero asset. Once I took him out of Maya, I then went into Substance Painter, and with reference beside me I went to town.
As you can probably tell by the quality on his chest, this is my first time doing hair cards, and my next project will focus on trying to improve that skill. But, I'm happy with how his hair turned out on his head, as that was the most important time
In all, this project took me around about 2 weeks, and I'm happy with the results for what my current skill level is! I'm slowly improving!
